Meet Midwife Meg
My Name is Megan. I am 31 years old. I am a mammy to my beautiful son Ollie, who is two.
I work Full time as a Midwife in Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, where I have the privilege of meeting fabulous women and their families during their pregnancy, Deliveries babies and caring for them once baby has arrived.
Being a midwife is a profound and rewarding privilege. It involves providing care, guidance, and support to women and families during one of the most significant events of their lives.
Midwife & Mammy
Once qualifying as a Midwife I worked across the Maternity Unit & The Special Care Baby unit. This gave me vast exposure to sick and preterm babies. During this time, it gave me skills and practical knowledge on the safe handling of precious babies.
Newborn safety is, without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of any midwifery or caregiving practice. My role as a Midwife, Mother & Newborn Photographer encompasses a responsibility that requires constant attention, knowledge, and preparation.
